2017-The beginning is the most important part of the work

Hello Fashionistas & Happy New Years!

I hope everyone had an incredible holiday and got the chance to spend it with the people that mean the most. This hectic month- long break for us college students is always one of my favorites. It seems like the end of December is just non-stop family party after family party and that’s truly why I enjoy this time of the year so much.

But now it’s a new year, which means new beginnings and a clean slate. The New Year is a perfect time to get your options and priorities straight, and to use those in making significant decisions or changes as to what really makes you happy. Your Happiness is ultimately derived from your outlook on life, so in this New Year I challenge you to find the good in all situations brought to you in the near future. Bringing positivity to the table, where there might be none, can remarkably change a situation more than one might think.

For me, 2017 is already filled with exciting new adventures and challenges. From being elected Membership Vice President of Gamma Phi Beta at my University, which involves being in charge of organizing and running our recruitment weekend, to landing my first Public Relations internship at Bollare Communications in NYC. Although I will be working extremely hard at both these positions, with an easier school load I hope to find more time in this new year to add new and exciting content to my blog.

I’m beyond thrilled for what this year has in store for me, and I’m excited to be able to share it all with you!

I wish you all the best!
