Exploring DUMBO

This past weekend my friends and I got to venture out and explore the hidden beauty of Brooklyn and its amazing views.  Originally getting its name from “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass”, it was easy to see why DUMBO has been said to be one of the most the buzz-worthy neighborhoods of Brooklyn.  The neighborhood is relatively small and easily explored by foot, which is something I definitely recommend doing if your ever in the area. Here is where you can find all the street art, murals, galleries and amazing eateries your heart desires.

Once we were done exploring, we realized we had worked up quite an appetite. We wanted to check out a restaurant called AlMar which has yummy paninis, pasta dishes, and salads. Unforntunelty it was so packed so we just grabbed some pizza and headed home, but it’s on my list the return back and try out in the future!
