Sunday Brunch Day

Hello Fashionistas,

As most New Yorkers could agree, Sundays in NYC are strictly for mimosas, poached eggs and if you are lucky- sometimes a drag queen entertainer. For those of you who don’t know or never have experienced, the brunch ritual in NYC is something you don’t want to miss out on. If you are a college student like myself, you are not getting out of bed on a Sunday until after 12 o’clock anyways, so the combination of breakfast & lunch is right up our alley.

What attracts most college students is the bottomless brunch menu that most places offer. For a set meal price your group can order an entree and bottomless refills normally of choices including mimosas, margaritas or sangria (usual for a 2-hour time slot).

I’ve been to my fair share of places, each unique in their own way but I definitely have some favorites. I’m going to share with my the top 3 favorite places to brunch on Sunday’s!

1. Sotto 13– More upscale, This cozy romantic Italian eatery was hands down the best brunch place I’ve been to. They serve family style, with choices from brunch plates to delicious wood fire pizzas.

2. La Flaca– A common favorite, this New Mexican restaurant offers a great brunch menu incorporating good food with better prices in an unfussy interior.

3. HK in Hells Kitchen– This modern American eatery has inviting garage door windows that open onto 9th ave during nice weather and delicious sandwiches, burgers, salads and omelets incorporated into their brunch menu.

If you have an upcoming celebration or just want a fun time with friends over amazing food check out these places next time you’re in NYC! Also if you guys have any favorites let me know, I love to try new places and add them to my list.

Here are a few of my outfits from my recent brunch experiences
